Last Week our task was to make dot to dot connections on words that connected to the Kuaka. i chose 6 words which were Climate Change, Migration, Navigation, DIet, Travel, Appearance and Habitat and i made connections with the words with facts about the Kuaka.

Last Week our task was to create and DLO showing the migration route of the Kuaka and to explain why they go to all of the different places. this is what I created and something I found interesting is that the reason they migrate is just like any other animal or person their reason is to find better food and a breeding place.

Today in reading me and Dito read a book about the Indian Migration and after we read it my teacher gave us a question to answer and this is what we did.
Today in class we were told to open these class slides that had instructions on the first slide and the rest of the slides had everyones names on it!First we were told to go on the Whitcouls book site and find two books.One book had to be under $30 dollars and the other book could have any price so i went on the site and found these two books that i really loved to read the first book i chose was Wings of fire the Hidden Kingdom(graphic novel) which was writen by Tui t.Sutherland and the Art was done by Mike Holmes and the second book i chose is call Kimitsu no yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge.the first book costed $21.99 and the second one costed $20.99.thank you for reading this blog bye!

In reading this week we have been focusing on inferencing and making connections. Inferencing is our big goal that we work on all year so we do maintenance quizzes. When we make connections we can connect texts to our lives, texts to other texts, and texts to the wider world. My group made connections with the text “Starryteller”. Here is Rafyel and I’s work :
